Fore Rembert
Senior Vice President/Investments
Fore began his investment industry career in 2007 and joined Stifel in 2018. His responsibilities include leading planning meetings, overseeing each team member’s roles and responsibilities, and addressing his clients’ vast wealth management needs.
A fierce and dedicated competitor, Fore combines his unique skills, life experience, careful judgement, and industry knowledge to help his clients pursue their goals with passion and purpose. He specializes in developing retirement planning and risk mitigation strategies for clients transitioning from their working years to their retirement years. He implements a personalized process and philosophy that is strategic, yet tactical, making appropriate changes as market conditions evolve, tax laws change, and life events occur. Having this process in place allows him to develop strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Fore’s competitive nature doesn’t rest solely in the investment world. He has been a competitor his whole life, having played football, basketball, and baseball in high school and receiving numerous team and individual awards. He earned a B.S. in Physical Education from East Carolina University and spent 11 years within the North Carolina’s public school system as a teacher, head football and baseball coach, and athletic director/administrator for grades K-12. He also worked at the University of North Carolina Asheville from 2002 to 2003 as an assistant baseball coach, where he focused on recruiting and player development.
Away from the office his activities include, but are not limited to, coaching multiple sports for the youth in his community, lifting weights, following college football, and working with nonprofits throughout the area. Fore is possibly the worst golfer in three counties, as his “baseball swing” causes the ball all too often to go in the wrong direction, but he is an outstanding putter!
Fore and his wife, Mandy, along with their two boys, Quinn (14) and Gehrig (8), reside and love living in Maiden, a small town in the Catawba Valley. Community involvement is at the front of Fore’s life. He loves his community of Maiden and the Hickory area. His passion for his community’s growth and development is paramount. Service and dedication are often words associated with Fore, evidenced by his service for eight years on the city council in the town of Maiden, as an elected public official (six of those being the Mayor pro-tem), and the dedication to recreation and high school sporting teams and players.
